About Me and My Inspiration . . .
|
 |
As a full-time mother
and wife, I reside in Roseville, Michigan with my husband Mark,
since 1993, and our two children.
Although we were comfortable and content with our lives, my husband and I agreed that waiting for “the finer things in life” in order to keep our children out of daycare, wasn’t negotiable.
I have spent most of
my adult life working in the Administrative field, where I consider
myself to have been quite successful. It wasn’t until I had my first
child that I chose to step out of Corporate America. Of course
this took sacrifices in allowing us to do so...a few less vacations,
a longer wait for a bigger home and new cars, but these are small
sacrifices. |

My family is and always will be most important. Being home with my kids and raising them myself, instead of someone else, has always been a priority. I have what my life's desire has always been... a wonderful, loving family, great friends and good health! With a life so full of riches, I felt that the want for anything more would be greedy. In my mind, big houses, new cars, and frequent vacations are nice, but not feasible or realistic for the
average single-income family. It was one or the other.
I still believe nothing is as important as family, friends and good health. However, it wasn't until I lost my father unexpectedly, that it hit me...
Why does it have to be either/or?
Why can't an average family only have 'one' parent work and still have the extras?

And, what good is anything if you have no time to enjoy it? I knew that working for someone else and building the success and future of that company wasn't the answer for me. What I didn't realize was the many different options there ARE.
Although we lived very comfortably, we were still pretty average and like many others, either my husband is laid off and we're forced to live frugally, or he's working way too hard and misses out on a lot.
My Inspiration
Shortly after the unexpected death of my father, I began viewing life differently. During this time, I also happen to read this phrase on a wall... "If you always do what you've always done, You'll always have what you've always had" and knew at that moment, that I needed to do something because I wanted more. Talk about fate! Thanks dad for sending me the message.
Now, “waiting” for anything was no longer an option, and I set out to make some important life changes. With my children and family remaining my top priority, I researched alternate ways of earning an income by working from home. I knew that I had to do something that would increase the quality of our lives without allowing any more of life's precious time to be lost.
I'm not the least bit ashamed to admit, in my past work experiences, not being able to name even one job that truly held my interest for very long. Being a “mom” is the only “job” I can ever recall "really" wanting. In addition to enjoying my children, my creative mind stays busy with graphic design work that I do and I have a particular interest in photography. I also enjoy traveling and am looking forward to doing much more of it.
I love to be surrounded by people. I feel a tremendous appreciation for and have always highly valued the friends in my life. Yet, I strongly believe that making new friends should never be limited. Meeting new people and helping others has always brought great pleasure as well, so it shouldn't be surprising to hear me say that I strive to someday be remembered as “one who made a difference” in many people’s lives.
I miss my father very much, as he took a very large part of me with him. However, he left me with a valuable lesson learned...You only get one shot at life. Live each day to it's fullest, and enjoy it. |

He certainly did! He knew how to live life to the fullest and enjoy every minute of it.
He was forever trying 'something' to "hit it big!" But not for himself, for everyone else. We would always hear about his plans for when he does hit it big and they were 'always' about what he'd do or give to 'us'...his family and his friends. The more he would have, the more he would give.
Regardless of how much I loved and idolized my dad, it wasn't until after his death that I realized the wonderful impact he had on others. He was remembered most for his love of life and generosity of sharing this with everyone who knew him.
This is when I asked myself...How do I want to be remembered... as a great employee, mother and wife? Or, like dad, as someone who has TRULY made a difference in everyone's path that I've crossed! The problem was...How? I decided to open my mind and explore.
My Business Side
There are a lot of opportunities out there, some good, some bad. How do you know which is which unless you look, research it and educate yourself? I've "been there and done that" with a variety of experiences. Some of which were disappointing, some not what they appeared to be, and some just not for me which, if the right type of person weren't necessarily bad options.
Being an average, middle-class housewife/mother, with an educated and corporate employed background, I knew I had to at least keep an open mind to change. I'm well aware of many similar woman who seem content after opting to get involved with network marketing companies. Some very well-known and successful companies such as, Avon, MaryKay, Tupperware, etc. But I also knew that if I'm looking to improve time with my family, lugging products to other people's home every night wasn't for me. I also don't like asking anyone for anything, which is probably why I have never been into sales. I wasn't interested in anything based on trying to recruit a ton of people in order to make any money, or pushing any products that most people have never tried, trying to convince them of why they should. I don't like high-pressure anything and I don't have much extra time or extra resources to risk.
With that done and said, here are a few things that I "do" agree with... anybody first to market with a new product that 'works' are those who win. If there is 'something' that EVERYBODY wants or needs and uses, then I could see being a part of promoting it in a way of making people aware that it's available. If a product speaks for itself and all I have to do is to get it in the hands of others, and I didn't have to count on "convincing" anyone of anything, then of course I could see others 'wanting' to be a part of it too, and have the option to make some money. That only makes sense!
Well...throughout my researching I have gained quite a bit of knowledge and experience in the home business industry. This knowledge along with many wonderful people that I have been blessed to meet along the way has led me to finding many tremendous things.
There IS no perfect product or business, and everyone has different needs and even sometimes results. However, with that said, there are also several wonderful known AND unknown products out there. Some are off timing for their money making days or may have a poor business model, but still provide spectacular benefits for people. It's just a matter of opening the door wide enough to look. This I have done and won't ever stop doing my due diligence and it never hurts to have more than one egg in your basket. How else will I find anything worth finding. Everything new, big and exciting was once never heard about and started 'somewhere' with 'someone'. Those who were in the right place, at the right time. Why not me...or even YOU?
I also believe that everything happens for a reason...not quite sure 'how' but I'm glad it has.
Nobody has a crystal ball, but by exploring new things, I have definitely come across things with much more reward vs. risk. I am certain that by spreading good "knowledge" across the country to those who are accepting of it can only add a positive.
I enjoy sharing valuable products and business concepts with others, and am not in a convincing business. I'm a detailed person, not a salesperson. I simply provide factual information, like "show and tell". Either the product will speak for itself or it won't. Either you'll see the magnitude of something or you won't. But I hope you at least
take an open look and get the information, because remember, it's not just about you, it's also about who 'you' know. The choice is YOURS! It's that simple!
I work very passionately at everything I do and I could not be more sincere when I say, “I have a deep respect and steadfast belief in the people who have connected me with "opportunity” whether some were a fit for me or not.
For that I would like to thank them all for these tremendous gifts they have provided... knowledge outside of my comfort zone, connections with many great people and VISION to see obtainable options for me to reach 'my' life's desires. I hope someday I may be able to help you find yours. | | |
